PubMed can be found here, and they have a full online tutorial that can be found here. The tutorial covers this information in more detail, is reasonably short, and well worth trying

Searching

To begin using PubMed, type a simple search into the query box. For example, type Human genome and you will recieve a lot of results

Simple commands to help with your search:

• You can narrow your search by using simple BOOLEAN operators: AND, OR, and NOT.
• You can truncate words using *, such as dermatos* to get anything beginning with dermatos
